Two young men from Texas were arrested on suspicion of trying to break into a San Jose home while pretending to be delivery service workers, police said Wednesday. The alleged home invasion attempt occurred on Sept. 5 in South San Jose, police said. Two people – one wearing a delivery service outfit and the other a ski mask – were seen in surveillance footage trying to deliver a package to the 911 caller’s residence when the person wearing the ski mask pulled out a gun. The two people fled from the home in a vehicle before officers arrived. Detectives used automated license plate reader data to identify the suspects’ vehicle and later the suspects as Dallas residents Damian Vielma, 20, and Jeremiah Clybourn, 19. During their investigation, detectives uncovered evidence linking Vielma and Clybourn to multiple crimes across various jurisdictions, including Atherton, police said.
