Several students were being evaluated after a reported pepper spray incident at a middle school in Miramar on Wednesday, officials said. Miramar Police officials said officers and fire rescue crews responded to the incident at Glades Middle School on Southwest 48th Court. Several students experienced minor coughing and were evaluated by fire rescue as a precaution, and none needed to be hospitalized, officials said. There was no threat to the school and police said the incident remained under investigation.
