Raffy Pearce, who has Jarvis Brook on an eight-match unbeaten run, has ‘always had a love’ for life as a football manager. The Crowborough-based side play in the Southern Combination League, which is step six in English football. Pearce is a young presence on the sideline in Step 6 supplied Pearce, 21, has been around football all his life, with his dad Ian a Premier League winner with Blackburn and accumulating over 150 appearances for West Ham. “I have been talking about football with my dad since the age of 8, and when you are exposed to that over a long period of time you build up a good knowledge of the game,” Pearce said.
