Vienības Bridge in Daugavpils to be rebuilt

A contract worth 7.2 million euros has been signed in Daugavpils for the reconstruction of the Vienības Bridge, which is scheduled to take place during the warm seasons of 2027 and 2028. During the construction work, traffic in both directions will be diverted via a temporary bridge, which the local council hopes to install as early as this year, LSM's Latgale editorial reports.
