Man accused in Blue Route road rage stabbing appears in court

A man accused of stabbing another driver during an alleged road rage incident on the Blue Route over Labor Day weekend appeared in court Tuesday. Samuel Marquez is accused of assaulting and stabbing the driver along Interstate 476 after becoming angry that the other driver got in his way, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The victim came face to face with Marquez in court Sept. 29, telling the court that he was beaten, punched and stabbed along I-476 earlier in the month. Police described a group of cars traveling together when the incident unfolded. Investigators said Marquez was one of the drivers and became so angry that he crashed into another car before the driver was stabbed. “Krux of the case this is road rage crashed vehicle physical altercation stabbing and injuries,” prosecutor Robert George said.
