Amanpour Insists She Isn't Liberal Or Biased, Just Pro-Democracy PBS/CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour sat down with Talk Easy podcast host Sam Fragoso on Sunday for what was truly a surreal interview. Even though Amanpour is one of the most liberal media figures outside of MS NOW, she insisted that she isn’t biased and that she’s just someone who cares about democracy and human rights from a Catholic perspective. Fragoso wondered, “So, do you believe there's a moral bent to your work?” After Amanpour affirmed that she does, he continued, “You do? Mark Thompson, the chairman and CEO of CNN, he's also the editor-in-chief of CNN said, quote, ‘Our job is not to be moral arbiters.
