Federal authorities charge 19 in alleged cocaine trafficking operation across Dallas area

Nineteen people were indicted on 24 counts in connection with drug trafficking cases, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas announced Tuesday during a Homeland Security Task Force press conference. Avery Wayne Davis, also known as “Addy,” and Sterling Lawrence Taylor, also known as “Bo,” are accused of leading a large-scale cocaine trafficking network that operated from about mid-2023 through early 2025, according to Ryan Raybould, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. Raybould said investigators identified five drug houses allegedly operated by the defendants at properties on Roberts Avenue, Munger Avenue, Cedar Mountain Circle, Wood Meadow Parkway and Abrams Road. Joe Tucker, special agent in charge of the DEA’s Dallas Field Division, said Homeland Security Task Force investigators, with assistance from the Dallas Police Department, have arrested 13 of the 19 individuals charged in the case.
