This will eventually bring additional sunshine and warmer weather into the region for the next three days. Wednesday will be the transition day. Thick clouds and some fog Wednesday morning will begin to break up Wednesday afternoon. How warm it gets at your location will depend on how soon the sunshine can finally break through. Most areas in D.C. metro area will get to around 80° while northern Maryland is likely to stay in the mid-70s. Fredericksburg to Culpeper and Charlottesville will reach the low 80s. The low level clouds will return overnight. That, plus light south winds, will keep overnight lows in the low 60s east of the Blue Ridge with 50s along the I-81 corridor.
