Lena arrived in Denmark as a 9-year-old refugee from Kosovo, attended Danish schools and built a career at some of the country’s biggest companies. She says racist slurs and comments questioning whether she belongs have followed her into adult life. Now she has written a book about identity, discrimination and learning to define herself on her own terms.
