Rolls-Royce confirms £300million investment in major boost to UK production

Chancellor John Healey has confirmed that iconic British manufacturer Rolls-Royce will invest £300million into the UK. Speaking at Labour Party Conference, Mr Healey said the funding would go to its manufacturing bases in Derby, Bristol, Glasgow, Warwickshire and Rotherham. He highlighted how industrialisation has boosted Rolls-Royce's Derby factory, which produces nuclear reactors.
