All New Jersey state offices will have a two-hour delayed opening on Monday, Sept. 28, due to the weekend nor’easter , Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced Sunday . The offices impacted include the Motor Vehicle Commission , officials said. Anyone with a canceled appointment can bring walk-in with their cancelation notice between Sept. 29 and Oct. 14, 2026, for service. The delayed opening does not impact teleworkers or workers designated as Weather Essential, officials said.
