Liverpool delt injury scare as star forward returns from international duty early

Liverpool star Alexander Isak has returned from international duty early after picking up a minor injury. The 27-year-old striker will be assessed by Liverpool staff after picking up a "small problem with his thigh". He featured in Sweden's 2-1 win against Romania, playing the full 90 minutes, but will miss his nation's next three matches. Sweden's coach Graham Potter confirmed Isak's return to Liverpool early when speaking to reporters. TRENDING Stories Videos Your Say Potter said: "He's got a small problem with his thigh. It's not a big one, but because of the amount of games we've got in a small space of time, he won't be able to make those. "Not a big one, but frustrating for him, and obviously for us."
