LG targets AI data centers with modular cooling

LG Electronics is introducing modular cooling systems that aim to speed up AI data center construction and let operators expand gradually as computing demand grows, the company said Tuesday. At Data Center World Asia 2026 in Singapore, LG is showcasing cooling, power and operational technologies as it seeks a broader role in AI infrastructure beyond supplying equipment. Its new Hydronic Modular cooling system packages pumps, valves, emergency buffer tanks and piping in a prefabricated container.
