Flying out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport? Parking rates are rising starting Oct. 1. Parking at a terminal will cost $37 a day with a TollTag, or $40 by credit card, $5 to $8 more than current rates. The price changes are to stay competitive with other major U.S. airports and offset the increased material and labor costs, according to DFW Airport. Those who book ahead of time can save up to 50% compared to drive-up rates. Express parking rates will also increase to between $20 and $25, depending on the payment method and whether the parking spot is covered. Remote parking will remain the airport’s cheapest option. Drop-off prices are changing too, with stays between 8 and 30 minutes costing $1 with a TollTag or $3 by credit card. TollTag discounts are designed to encourage faster payment methods and help reduce traffic congestion, the airport said.
