‘The Incomer’: Domhnall Gleeson Has “No Regret” About General Hux’s ‘Star Wars’ Fate & Says ‘The Paper’ Season 2 Is “Funnier” [Interview]

A council worker, two siblings who have barely interacted with the outside world, a remote Scottish island, some questionable seabird cuisine, and an unexpected amount of “ The Lord of the Rings .” That’s roughly the recipe for “ The Incomer ,” though trying to describe Louis Paxton ’s oddball comedy probably defeats the purpose. It’s very funny, frequently bizarre, and eventually rather sweet about the stories people inherit, the ones they cling to, and what happens when somebody from the outside comes along and starts poking holes in them.
