Although the rail is not easily accessible to me here in Kalihi Valley and, like thousands of my neighbors, I may never use it, I’m still interested in how Skyline will help all of us. I recently learned of the Legislature’s planned $300,000 visit to explore examples of transit-oriented development in cities in other nations (“ State leaders seek ideas on transit development ,” Star-Advertiser, Sept. 14).
