Steph Curry visits East Oakland school, talks vision issue

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry visited Madison Park Academy Primary in East Oakland on Wednesday to discuss a personal health issue. Curry is battling the progressive eye condition keratoconus, which effects vision. He didn’t let the serious topic dampen the day, joining the students for a book distribution and basketball clinic, while sharing his personal mission to inspire children to overcome physical obstacles. Curry said the diagnosis caused him anxiety, but he’s learned to manage it.
