Fake plush flowers with impassioned following return to Rockefeller Center Plaza

While some of the long lines around Rockefeller Center this week were people trying to snag tickets to the “Saturday Night Live” premiere hosted by the king of New York himself, Jalen Brunson, others in the area may have been coming for a very different attraction. Once again, artist CJ Hendry brought her mega-popular Flower Market back to Rockefeller Center. It comes after the show’s wildly popular debut on Roosevelt Island in 2024, then getting moved to the midtown Manhattan location as a way to expand and appease the fans who make up the cult-like following of the fake flowers. The playful, immersive art installation features a slew of plush flower designs, with 100,000 plush flowers on display. Every guest is gifted one flower.
