Transportation, housing and AI: Experts discuss the future of Tampa Bay’s economy

Preparation for the next decade of a successful Tampa Bay economy starts now. “There’s no happenstance or magic dust that’s sprinkled on a place to make it great,” said Kanika Tomalin, the president and CEO of the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg. “It requires planning, intention, resources and will… asking questions, then living the answers.” Local experts set out to do just that during a community conversation hosted by the Tampa Bay Times and the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg on Wednesday at the Center for Health Equity.
