Former heavyweight champion aged 53 loses sad comeback fight after 13-year hiatus

Long-faded former heavyweight world champion Hasim Rahman became the latest ageing pro to succumb to an ill-advised comeback. Dusting off the gloves 13 years after his last professional outing , the 53-year-old climbed back between the ropes at a veterans club in Indiana in front of what looked like a dozen spectators. In the end, the judges determined that Triantafillo, who had been on the front foot for the majority of the fight, had done enough to win.
