Maria Koleva Runs for President

Maria Koleva is a presidential candidate in the upcoming elections on October 25 in accordance with a decision by the Central Election Commission. She was nominated by the Pravoto party, alongside vice-presidential candidate Valeri Velkovski. Koleva is the chair of the Pravoto party. She told BTA that she has served as a member of supervisory boards and as a director at banks and foreign representative offices. She is a licensed appraiser of entire business entities and an expert witness for the Sofia City Court. She chairs the Mladost District Election Commission in Sofia and previously chaired the Municipal Election Commission in Botevgrad, Southern Bulgaria between 2015 and 2019. Maria Koleva holds master's degrees in Law and in Finance and Credit.
