NBC 4 New York, Telemundo 47 and Comcast NBCUniversal Award More Than $227K to Five Tri-State Nonprofits

NEW YORK, NY – September 23, 2026 – NBC New York, Telemundo 47, and Comcast NBCUniversal announced more than $227,000 has been awarded to five local nonprofit organizations through the 2026 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants. Since 2018, NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 have now provided more than $2.2 million to 42 different local nonprofits through the annual grant program. For the ninth year, the competitive grant challenge is awarding unrestricted funding to eligible nonprofits making a difference in the Tri-State Area. Applications were accepted in three categories: youth education and empowerment, next generation storytellers, and community engagement.
