Mother of Rhiannon Whyte rips apart Andy Burnham's 'half a***d' letter as PM refuses to hold meeting

The mother of Rhiannon Whyte has slammed Andy Burnham after the Prime Minister wrote to reject a request for a meeting with the bereaved mother. Siobhan Whyte described the Prime Minister's response to a letter by Labour MP for Warwick & Leamington Matt Western as "half a***d". Rhiannon was murdered by Sudanese asylum seeker Deng Chol Majek at the Bescot Stadium railway station in Walsall in October 2024. Majek is said to have tracked Ms Whyte to the station after she finished a shift at the nearby Park Inn Hotel, where he had been living, before inflicting 19 wounds to her head, including a fatal brain stem injury.
