Detective details video evidence in trial over Drexel Hill teen's killing

A detective testified that blood belonging to 15-year-old Michael Garr was found on clothing worn by the man accused of killing the Upper Darby High School student in Delaware County in 2023. Lead Detective Robert Marvil told jurors that when officers took Marson Weh into custody , Weh was wearing long johns with blood on them. Marvil testified that laboratory testing later determined the blood belonged to Garr. Weh, 26, is on trial in Garr’s killing. Delaware County District Attorney Tanner Rouse, who is personally prosecuting the case, has called the teenager’s death “random” and “senseless.” Garr was stabbed nearly a dozen times as he walked home on a Friday night in late April 2023. During the morning session, Rouse showed jurors video evidence that prosecutors say shows Weh following Garr for several blocks before stabbing him off-camera in a residential neighborhood in Drexel Hill.
