Dallas Goedert reportedly out ‘a few weeks' with knee injury

The Eagles are going to be without one of their best offensive players for at least the next few games. Tight end Dallas Goedert sprained his MCL in the Eagles’ 24-20 win over the Titans on Sunday and is expected to miss “a few weeks,” ESPN reported on Monday. Goedert, 31, suffered the knee injury early in the second quarter after playing just 19 snaps. He was initially listed as questionable to return but never did. He needed additional testing on Monday, which revealed the MCL sprain. Head coach Nick Sirianni earlier on Monday afternoon said the team was still awaiting those results. This is an injury the Eagles really can’t afford because their depth at tight end is — at best — pretty suspect. Without Goedert for the last three quarters in Tennessee, the Eagles two tight ends were Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins.
