Canes unveil throwback uniforms to celebrate 2001 National Championship team

Talk about a fitting tribute for an iconic team. The Miami Hurricanes are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the 2001 National Championship team in style – literally. The Canes unveiled the retro uniforms on their social media platforms on Monday. Star WR Malachi Toney, OT Matthew McCoy and DL Justin Scott were modeling the uniforms in the short video. Hurricanes fans were posting about their excitement over the social media reveal. Miami has two versions of the throwbacks – an orange jersey with white pants and a white jersey with green pants.
