Members of the Dallas Sports Commission, the State Fair of Texas and Dallas City Council will join officials from Grambling State and Prairie View A&M to talk about the upcoming State Fair Classic being played this Saturday in Fair Park. The State Fair of Texas is hosting a press conference at 11 a.m. Monday to preview the legendary, 101-year-old HBCU rivalry at the Cotton Bowl. The game will include renowned halftime show performances by the Prairie View A&M University Marching Storm and Grambling State University’s World Famed Tiger Marching Band, along with fan-friendly festivities and a pregame and postgame concert. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, and the winning team will take home the traveling State Fair Classic Championship Belt.
