Two people fighting the Dome Fire in Yosemite died after their firefighting helicopter crashed Sunday, according to officials. The helicopter crashed around 2 p.m. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. Aerospace company FlyPrecision announced on social media that it had lost two members of its team, saying the company was “devastated by this loss.” The Dome Fire has burned more than 3,000 acres and was 15% contained. No evacuation orders were in place.
