Innovation Minister, French Ambassador Discuss AI, Space Technology Cooperation

Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ivan Vasilev discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation between Bulgaria and France in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), and space technologies during a working meeting with the French Ambassador to Bulgaria, Marie Dumoulin, according to a press release by the Ministry on Thursday. Vasilev highlighted the Ministry's key priorities: transforming the economy toward high-value-added products and services, making Bulgaria the best place in Europe to launch and grow a high-tech business by 2030 and providing targeted support for such innovative manufacturing and companies. He also emphasized the digital transformation of the administration, which entails the reorganization and restructuring of various processes. The meeting also underscored the importance of the memorandum signed during the International Space Summit in Paris between the Bulgarian space company EnduroSat and the French company Arianespace.
