It seems the change in stewardship of Sea Life Park to the Hawaiian Council may herald a promise of a spirit more in keeping with the Hawaiian culture and heritage by immersing visitors in it (“Sea Life Park begins new transformation, Star Advertiser, Sept. 14) . As Hawaiian Council CEO Kuhio Lewis said, “We want it to be someplace that’s really grounded in Hawaii.”
