Culture Minister Miloshev: While Burgas Is the Host City, Bulgaria Is the Stage for Eurovision 2027

Culture Minister Evtrim Miloshev praised BNT Director General Milena Milotinova for her efforts to organize Eurovision 2027, saying the contest has found a strong host in the coastal city of Burgas. He said the Ministry of Culture is preparing and coordinating proposals for accompanying events, with the aim of supporting activities across the country. Miloshev stressed that while Burgas will host the contest, “the stage is Bulgaria,” saying Eurovision offers an opportunity to showcase the country internationally and generate interest in cultural, tourism, and business initiatives. Milena Milotinova said BNT hopes to make Eurovision 2027 a successful host event that showcases Bulgaria’s talent, beauty, and hospitality and demonstrates the country’s ability to organize an event of such scale.
