Continue the Change supports the protest of musicians from Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and their demands for sustainable funding and decent pay, according to a statement issued by the party’s press office on Saturday. "For over a year, musicians from the BNR Symphony Orchestra, Big Band, Folk Music Orchestra and Mixed Choir have been calling for a solution. Discussions have been held, proposals have been put forward, and the institutions have been given sufficient opportunities to find a workable model. Instead, the problem continues to be postponed," the party said. Continue the Change said that it is unacceptable in a European country for a musician from the BNR Symphony Orchestra to resort to a hunger strike.
