UC Berkeley student says she was followed, chased into her apartment complex

A UC Berkeley student said she was followed and chased into her off-campus apartment building on Tuesday night. Berkeley junior Eden Winograd said this all happened at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday when she was walking her dog near her off-campus apartment complex. That night, Winograd said she was walking her dog on the same path she does every night when she noticed a man approaching whom she had seen a few days earlier. “I started to panic a little bit, but I didn’t want to offend him if he was just standing there,” she said, recalling that she then started crossing the street.
