Camden County man found guilty of sexually abusing girl for several years

A Camden County man was convicted earlier this month of sexually abusing a girl for several years, according to prosecutors. On Sept. 3, following a two-week trial, a jury found 39-year-old Bryan Sisco-Downs guilty of two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. In October 2023, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Winslow Township Police Department began investigating Sisco-Downs after a 12-year-old girl reported the abuse. According to prosecutors, detectives learned that Sisco-Downs sexually abused the child on multiple occasions between December 2019 and October 2023, when she was between the ages of 9 and 12. Sisco-Downs was arrested and taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Prosecutors said the victim testified during the trial about the abuse she endured during her childhood. Following his conviction, Sisco-Downs face
