A Camden County man was convicted earlier this month of sexually abusing a girl for several years, according to prosecutors. On Sept. 3, following a two-week trial, a jury found 39-year-old Bryan Sisco-Downs guilty of two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. In October 2023, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Winslow Township Police Department began investigating Sisco-Downs after a 12-year-old girl reported the abuse. According to prosecutors, detectives learned that Sisco-Downs sexually abused the child on multiple occasions between December 2019 and October 2023, when she was between the ages of 9 and 12. Sisco-Downs was arrested and taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Prosecutors said the victim testified during the trial about the abuse she endured during her childhood.
