Three people were injured when a fishing boat crashed into rocks near the Golden Gate Bridge on Thursday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Authorities responded around 6:10 am. to reports of a 25-foot vessel that hit rocks on the north side of the bridge in Marin County’s jurisdiction. The San Francisco Police Department’s marine unit transported the three people onboard to the Marin County shoreline for treatment, fire officials said. The U.S. Coast Guard and fire departments in Marin County also responded as part of the rescue effort, according to SFFD.
