Gabrovo Hosts Annual Meeting of UNESCO Crafts and Folk Art Subnetwork

Gabrovo will host the annual meeting of the Crafts and Folk Art sub-network of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, which begins Thursday and will run through September 20, the local administration said. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Building a Peaceful World through Human Creativity” The forum will focus on the role of creativity, humor, and human skills in building peaceful and sustainable cities amid rapid technological change, the development of artificial intelligence, and crises. The Crafts and Folk Art sub-network of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network includes 80 cities from 55 countries. The annual meeting provides an opportunity for professional exchange, discussion of common challenges, sharing best practices, and creating new partnerships between the cities.
