Palestinian prisoner dies in Israeli detention, youth injured by Israeli gunfire in West Bank raid A Palestinian prisoner died on Wednesday in an Israeli detention facility, Wafa news reported on Wednesday. The 21-year-old Palestinian had been placed under administrative detention for more than 11 months and had reportedly not been suffering from any illnesses prior to his death. Wafa also reported on Wednesday that a Palestinian youth was injured by live ammunition this evening during an Israeli forces’ raid of the city of Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank, citing security sources. Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh and stormed several commercial shops, firing sound grenades and tear gas canisters and live ammunition, injuring a young Palestinian man.
