Fox News has spent the last 3 months heavily focused on Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids, arrests, or deportations that target criminal immigrants, but in reality, a majority of immigrants being arrested in President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown have no criminal record. A Media Matters review of Fox News segments from June 1 through September 13, 2026, found that out of 113 segments about ICE actions, 69% (78 segments) suggested that Trump's primary targets were immigrant criminals. Meanwhile, only 3 of the 113 segments acknowledged that ICE has been increasingly targeting primarily noncriminal immigrants.
