The only Tory Burch store in Chicago recently shuttered its doors, leaving local fans of the high-end brand with only suburban shopping options. The Tory Burch store located at 45 E. Oak Street in the city’s Gold Coast neighborhood was closed as of Friday, though it was not immediately clear when the store shut down. The store, known for its gorgeous interior, is still listed on the Tory Burch website but with the following message: “This location is now closed.” Chicago-area residents looking to do some in-person shopping can head to their suburban stores at the Oak Brook Mall, the Old Orchard Mall in Skokie, or at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont. No additional information was immediately available. Tory Burch did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s inquiry.
