'Outstanding candidate' Bevington appointed Aberdeen chief executive

Adrian Bevington is eager to "immerse" himself in the Granite City after joining Aberdeen as chief executive. The former English FA managing director and group communications director replaces Alan Burrows, whose departure was announced on Tuesday. Bevington has also held roles at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough and worked with Nottingham Forest and the Welsh FA.
