Krasimira Doneva, a judge at the Burgas District Court, has put forward her candidacy to participate in the election of members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) from the judges’ quota, the Council’s press centre said on Wednesday. She said she believes that the Supreme Judicial Council needs members with proven professional experience, independence, institutional consistency, and a clear commitment to the judicial profession and the functioning of the judicial system.
