Bulgarian Authorities Outline Security Measures Ahead of October 25 Presidential Vote

Bulgarian authorities on Thursday outlined measures to safeguard the October 25 presidential election, focusing on political neutrality, vote buying, election-related crime and cybersecurity. The measures were discussed at a national meeting of the Interior Ministry’s senior leadership. Attending the meeting were Prime Minister Rumen Radev, State Agency for National Security (SANS) Chair Plamen Tonchev, acting Prosecutor General Vanya Stefanova.
