Finance Minister Says 2027 Minimum Wage to Be Between EUR 620.20 and EUR 672.80

The range within which the minimum wage for 2027 is to be set lies between EUR 620.20 and EUR 672.80, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Galab Donev told journalists here on Tuesday. According to him, reaching an agreement with social partners on the mechanism for determining the minimum wage represents a "major breakthrough." He explained that a vote is pending in the National Assembly regarding the four criteria for setting the minimum wage, after which the relevant regulations must be amended and supplemented before the Council of Ministers can adopt the exact figure, given that trade unions and employer organizations have so far failed to reach a consensus. The range for the minimum wage agreed upon by the social partners is between EUR 620.20 and EUR 672.80.
