Season of the Arts: Toledo sees touring theater firsts in upcoming season

Guard your hearts, because the American Theatre Guild is opening the brand-new national tour of The Bodyguard at The Stranahan. For a month, the tour’s cast and crew will eat, sleep and, most of all, rehearse for the Oct. 15 opening. A musical adaptation of the 1992 romantic thriller starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner, The Bodyguard will run through Oct. 18.
