According to Burger King’s latest franchise disclosure document (FDD), the fast-food restaurant chain operated 6,650 locations across the United States at the end of fiscal year 2025, a net loss of 51 stores compared with the 6,701 it operated at the start of the year. Of those 6,650 locations, 5,518 are franchised and 1,132 are company-owned. Let’s take a closer look at where Burger King opened and closed locations last year.
