Five elephants from Assam have been proposed to be donated to Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai; Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai; Kancheepuram Mutt; Vaitheeswaran Temple, Mayiladuthurai; and Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameswaram.
