Douglas Booth has admitted "we've all" experienced moments when we could have spoken up against wrongdoing but failed to do so as his new ITV drama tackles systemic misogyny and toxic workplace behaviour. The actor stars alongside Michelle Keegan in The Blame, a new police thriller exploring misogyny, misconduct and the consequences of remaining silent within institutions. Speaking at a Q&A attended by GB News, Mr Booth reflected on the moral dilemma at the heart of his character Tom, a detective who recognises problems within the system but initially believes he will be better placed to challenge them once he has secured more power. Describing Tom's thinking, the 34-year-old explained: "He believes that he is better placed to tackle this systemic misogyny or, you know, a system that's letting the people it's meant to serve down.
