High school football: Grantsville exacts revenge, routs Juab behind 3 return touchdowns

Coach David Millward said the Grantsville Cowboys had circled Thursday night’s home game against the Juab Wasps for a long time. After losing a pair of close contests to the Wasps last season and then enduring a long bus ride home last week following at loss at Hurricane, the Cowboys took out their aggression and handed Juab a 42-7 defeat in a battle of 3A powers. Dawson Dunlevy returned the second-half kickoff for a score and Robert Rounds returned two interceptions to the end zone as the fourth-ranked Cowboys improved their record to 4-1 overall and forced game officials to enforce the UHSAA’s 35-point “mercy rule.”
