Brother honors La Jolla man killed in Sept. 11 attacks through new book

Twenty-five years after the September 11th attacks, much of the focus remains on the 2,977 people who were killed. But far harder to measure is the lasting impact on the parents, spouses, children and siblings they left behind. For Craig Woodall, that loss was his older brother Brent, a La Jolla High School and UC Berkeley standout athlete who was working on the 89th floor of the South Tower when it was attacked. Craig says the tragedy reshaped his entire family and, for years, threatened to define him. A longtime teacher, coach and high school principal in Colorado, he struggled privately with grief while continuing to show up for his students and family.
