Erling Haaland’s brace against Porto on Tuesday night maintained the Manchester City striker’s incredible scoring rate in the Uefa Champions League. Haaland now has 59 goals from 59 games in European club football’s elite competition, giving him the best goals-per-game ratio of any notable player in its history. In fact, he is the only player to have scored a significant number of goals at a rate of at least one per game.
